Coach for Ultimate Fighter also fires up everyday folks to Burn (Pounds) With Kearns



NORFOLK - The United States has more overweight people than any other country in the world, and type 2 diabetes is on the rise. Computers have replaced activity for many. All-you-can-eat buffets, sizes that go to XXXL, and a lack of time all contribute to a chubby nation. The good news is that the epidemic is finally being recognized. The next step is action, says Kevin Kearns of Norfolk, conditioning coach for Ultimate Fighting Championship fighter Kenny Florian of Dover.

Kearns is already in action selling corporate America and individuals at every fitness level on the benefits of regular exercise and good nutrition.

The personal trainer/coach kept Brazilian jiu-jitsu-Thai boxing black belt and wrestler Kenny Florian of Dover in top shape for his UFC bout in Las Vegas in October and will be training him for an April followup UFC fight. And Kearns, a martial arts black belt himself, has also trained police in self-defense. But he also keeps a roster of private and corporate clients in shape with his Burn With Kearns program and core fitness DVD.
