Edison Miranda vs Allan Green!!

The Fight Network has confirmed that superstars-in-the-making, Edison Miranda (27-1, 24 KO’s) and Allan Green (23-0, 16 KO’s) will square off on the televised undercard of HBO’s Miguel Cotto-Uktay Urkal WBA Welterweight title fight set for March 3rd in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

“Both sides have agreed to the fight in principle, and the money is very good,” Leon Margules, President of Warriors Boxing, Miranda’s promoter told The Fight Network, Monday afternoon.

“We came to an agreement on Friday, but we couldn’t announce the fight on Saturday night (HBO’s Boxing After Dark card headlined Arce vs. Ler) because the contracts weren’t signed.”

Margules believes the winner of Miranda-Green will be featured prominently in HBO's Middleweight future.

"I think Green has a longer road ahead of him, because Miranda would've then won two fights in a row on HBO, but the winner will get either (Kelly) Pavlik, or (WBC Middleweight champion Jermain) Taylor."
