ELAINA MAXWELL ON WARRIOR NATION & STRIKEFORCE



At this past December’s Strikeforce show in San Jose history was made when Elaina Maxwell and Gina Carano became the first female fighters in the promotion’s MMA history.

In one of the most entertaining fights of the year Maxwell and Carano fought to a close decision that made stars of both participants. Now just over a month later Elaina Maxwell returns to action on February 10th at Strikeforce: Young Guns, taking place at the San Jose Civic Auditorium.

Before Elaina gets back up into the cage she is featured, along with Gina, on the most recent edition of MSNBC’s “Warrior Nation” four-part series dedicated to MMA.

“I haven’t seen it yet, so I’m really anxious and excited to see it,” said Maxwell of her episode. “I had a really good experience with the film crew and MSNBC overall, so I think it’s going to turn out great. I think the first two episodes turned out great and that Mixed Martial Artists are really going to appreciate the series.”
