FORMER NFL RB GOODMAN WINS AGAIN



OSHKOSH, WIS. – Former Green Bay Packer running back “Whisper” Goodman kept his MMA record perfect improvingC to 2-0 with a spectacular knockout of Tim Nixon of Marquette, MI in the main event of Gladiators Fighting #37 “Super Brawl” held here at the Park Plaza Convention Center Saturday night.

It was the second knockout victory in as many fights for Goodman, a light heavyweight, and the second time that his opponent had to be attended to by the ringside physician.

In a battle of super-heavyweights, Tim Hiltsley and Terry Kleiman both of Green Bay, WI, brought a combined total of over 700 pounds into the ring and fought to a three-round draw. Kleiman, the bigger of the two at over 400 pounds appeared to have the fight in hand, but as conditioning caught up to him he lost his mouthpiece several times and in the third round referee Al Wichgers deducted a point for the repeated mouthpiece violations.
