Interview: Sherman "The Tank" Pendergarst



On January 27, Baltimore native and former Ground Control fighter Sherman "The Tank" Pendergarst returned to the cage for the first time since his UFC 65 defeat at the hands of heavyweight Antoni Hardonk. Pendergarst -- now fighting with Miletich Fighting Systems -- fought Brett Stevens at Miletich Kombat Sports 2 in Lake Okoboji, Iowa. Pendergarst made quick work of Stevens, ending the fight at 1 minute 20 seconds of the first round with a submission via rear naked choke. The victory improves Pendergarst's professional MMA record to 9-4.

I was able to catch up with Pendergarst and ask him a couple of quick questions about his last fight and his next one.
