UK Lightweight Dave Lee (5-2) today confirmed that he’s signed to fight on the April UFC show in Manchester, England. A fighter who favors the ground game, all of his fights - both wins and losses- have ended in submission. Lee made his UFC debut last September against Tyson Griffin (8-0) at UFC 63, losing in under two minutes to a rear-naked choke.

When talking about this match, Lee acknowledged the pressure that being in the “big show” can bring.

“Fighting in front of a big crowd in such a huge place like that and it’s in the back of your mind that you’re in the UFC…and there’s the jetlag! Fighting over here [in the UK] will be much better for me plus I’ve already been in the UFC so it’s not like I’ve got any pre-show jitters.”
