WEC WEIGH-IN RESULTS

Las Vegas, NV – With two championship belts on the line, and a nine-bout card, fighters of the World Extreme Cagefighting organization weighed in Friday at the Hard Rock Hotel hoping to make a resounding statement in the WEC’s first event under new ownership.

The WEC card goes off in The Joint, an intimate venue tucked inside the Hard Rock & Casino that elicits the feel of old-time fight clubs.

In the main event, Kit Cope and “Razor” Rob McCullough duel for the vacant WEC 155-lbs. crown, in what could be a compelling standup battle between two dangerous lightweights. In the co-main, Urijah Faber makes the first defense of his WEC 145-lbs. belt against Joe Pearson.
