Carlson Gracie Sr - Remembering a legend

My first assignment as an InsideFighting staff member was to interview and record video footage of Stephan Bonnar for a “Training Day” feature. He was preparing for the first of his famous three-fight UFC contract after falling just short of beating Forrest Griffin in the finale of “The Ultimate Fighter.”

This alone felt like a heady responsibility. Bonnar was coming off an entire season of a reality television show where millions tuned in and watched each week. And his previous fight against Griffin was the most-watched mixed martial arts fight in history.
Unsure of what to expect, I was admittedly nervous. Would I get an engaging interview with Bonnar? Had I done enough research on the now-famous fighter?
