IFL: Weekend Wrap-Up

Another week is in the books, and that means one thing: we’re one week closer to IFL Atlanta on February 23rd. Personally, I’m all a-tingle with excitement and anticipation, and I’m not the type who tingles easily.

What am I so excited for? For one thing, I’m very anxious to see how the New York Pitbulls will respond to the gauntlet that has been laid down before them by coach Renzo Gracie. Anyone who heard his comments after the World Team Championships could tell that he was less than pleased with his squad’s performance in 2006, so he’ll definitely want to make a statement in the team’s first event of the new season.

But that’s not all there is to gossip about in this edition of the Weekend Wrap-Up. As usual, you shouldn’t believe everything you read, but you have to believe in something, so I hear, or you’ll fall for anything. That comes from a country song, so you know it’s reliable.
