MIGUEL ANGEL TORRES WINS AT TFC 10



Hammond, Ind. – The main event of Total Fighting Challenge’s 10th Anniversary Show featured Shooto World #3 ranked and current 135lb Total Fight Challenge Champion Miguel Angel Torres taking on Charles “Man of War” Wilson at 145 pounds.

Throughout the fight, Wilson survived multiple submission attempts from Torres on the ground and fought to stay standing while using his unorthodox stance and kicks to keep Miguel at bay. Despite spending most of the 1st and 2nd rounds in triangle and armbar attempts from Torres, Wilson refused to tap and landed several shots as he escaped the holds that bloodied the face of Torres in both rounds. Wilson obviously wanted to keep the fight standing, but in the third round Torres imposed his will and brought the fight into his guard where he locked on a tight triangle choke and forced a very game Wilson to finally tap out at 1:29 of the 3rd round.
