RENZO GRACIE RADIO TONIGHT

After a few issues regarding Frank Shamrock’s contractual status finally being settled, Renzo Gracie is ready to step into the cage to face his family’s nemesis on this weekend’s EliteXC event on Showtime.

The battle with Frank will be Renzo’s third high profile fight over the past year, which has come across as somewhat of a resurgence for the 39 year-old fighter. He submitted MMA legend Pat Miletich in September of last year and won a decision over Carlos Newton at the end of December, both fights taking place in the International Fight League. Prior to that, Renzo had lost 5 of his past 6 bouts, so it seems that the New York-based Gracie, who recently was granted U.S. Citizenship, has reclaimed his position as one of the toughest fighters in the sport.

This Saturday night on Showtime, he looks to continue his winning ways against Frank Shamrock, but tonight he joins Damon & Jeff on MMAWeeklyRadio.com at 6pm PT / 9pm ET to talk about the fight and where he goes from here.
