SAPP “BUZZ”ED FOR CAGE RAGE ENCOUNTER

UK promoters Andy Geer and Dave O’Donnell have released a nearly-completed card for April 21’s Cage Rage 21 “Judgement Day,” including a main event that pits outspoken American Bob “The Beast” against Britain’s Robert “Buzz” Berry.

The popular local event, which takes place at London’s Wembley Arena on April 21, will go head-to-head with the just announced UFC 70, scheduled for the Manchester Evening News Arena in Manchester. London and Manchester are a three-hour train ride from each other.

While there was some uncertainty regarding Sapp’s (8-2-1) opponent, a Cage Rage representative has confirmed that it will be Berry (11-5-0), the second man that challenged “The Beast” at Cage Rage 20.

“There were so many options,” the representative told The Fight Network earlier this week. “For now it’s Berry, but other match-ups like Sapp and Butterbean will happen in the future.”
