MONTREAL (CP) - Sam Stout of London, Ont., needed only two rounds to wear down Fabio Holanda of Brazil and retain his lightweight title at TKO 28: Inevitable before 5,000 boisterous mixed martial arts fans on Friday night at the Bell Centre.

"I didn't execute take down defence as well as wanted, but it still worked out," said Stout. "I was counting on him getting winded in the later rounds, but I didn't expect it to end like that.

"But I'll take it."
