Unbeaten reign continues for Silva



This one was for something more important than a belt.

This fight was about respect.

Taking personally Travis Lutter's failure to make weight, UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva punished Lutter with a triangle choke and elbows to the head in the second round of their bout at UFC 67 Saturday night in Las Vegas. The combination was too much for a spent Lutter, who tapped out at 2:11 of the round.

"I'm a stand-up fighter, but my jiu-jitsu skills can match up with anyone in this weight class and you can see that by what I did to Travis Lutter," said Silva (18-4), who's now an emphatic 3-0 in the UFC and has yet to be extended beyond the second round.
