Tragic news coming out of California, American Kickboxing Academy fighter Eric Wray passed away early Wednesday morning. Wray was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival. At the time of publication, the cause of death was unknown.

Wray last fought at Strikeforce: Tank vs. Buentello, when he took on Ultimate Fighter 2 alumni Jason Von Flue. He fought hard before succumbing to a side choke in the second round. Wray was scheduled to fight on March 31st on a Gladiator Challenge card against Gladiator Challenge Welterweight Champion Jeremiah Metcalf.
