All Women's MMA starring MEGUMI FUJII !

The Midwest's first all female Mixed Martial Arts event is coming to the Twin Cities. New Fight Films partnered with First Look Entertainment will be presenting this inaugural event on Saturday, March 10th at 701 North 2nd Street in Minneapolis. Athletes featured on this card are all professional MMA competitors who present a level of skill and toughness not often seen on the American female MMA scene. This event is being filmed for a nationwide DVD release as well as In-Demand Pay-Per-View.



The fight card for this event brings together the most experienced and distinguished group of female fighters ever to compete in the Midwest. Included in the card are three fighters ranked in the top 15 for all female fighters including the #1 ranked fighter in the world, Megumi Fujii, who currently holds a spotless 10-0 record. The event's two other ranked fighters also own perfect record. Laura D'Auguste (7-0) currently holds the #4 position while Kelly Kobold Gavin (15-0) is ranked #11. To have all three of these ladies on a card shows the great progression of this sport in the Midwest.

Other fighters featured on this card include: AJ Jenkins, Cody Welchin, Liz Posener, Ginelle Marquez (Pictures), Marissa Inhofer, and Kristy Bushness. All of these women are experienced MMA competitors who have shown a great deal of determination to succeed in the upper levels of this sport. The fights featured on this card will all hold a great deal of excitement as these women know that giving the crowd high-paced action is the best way to keep the fans on their feet.
