CABALLERO PUNISHES CASTILLO; PAEZ SHOCKED BY JOURNEYMAN

Celestino Caballero (25-2, 18 KOs) impressively defended his WBA Super Bantamweight title with a dominating nine-round pummeling of Ricardo "Piolo" Castillo (27-3, 17 KOs) Friday night at the Seminole Hard Rock LIVE Arena in Hollywood, Florida.

After witnessing their charge absorb punishment over the entire fight, Castillo's corner intervened at 2:02 of round nine.

Earlier, in a slight shocker, suspect prospect Jorge Paez Jr. (12-1, 8 KOs) was fully debunked by trialhorse Ramon Guevara (8-11, 6 KO's) with a fourth round TKO.

Guevara followed up a fourth round knockdown with a furious barrage that forced a halt to the fight at 2:13.
