Carnage at the Coliseum

Mixed martial arts and the sport's extreme fighters are coming to Hilton Coliseum in Ames.

Coliseum Carnage 1, to be held April 28, will feature 15 professional Mixed Martial Arts bouts. Competitors will include UFC and IFL stars Josh Neer and former Iowa State University linebacker Justin Eilers.

Attendees will also have the chance to meet and greet Mixed Martial Arts "superstars" including Pat Miletich, Jens Pulver, Robbie Lawler, and Drew McFedries.

The first Mixed Martial Art event held at Hilton, Coliseum Carnage I will also be webcast on Iinternet video. The near television-quality webcast is available for $9.95 through www.fightsportglobal.com.

"The Midwest in many ways is the heart of MMA country," said event promoter Troy Waller. "We're grateful the sport has grown into one of Iowa's largest arenas and proud the eyes of the world will be on our event and Iowa."
