Miletich to Host Free Wrestling Clinic

By Keith Butler

The International Fight League will be hosting a free clinic for the Quad Cities region this Saturday, March 31st at Miletich Fighting Systems in Bettendorf, Iowa. All local high school and college wrestlers are invited to work out with Quad Cities Silverbacks Coach and local hero Pat Miletich.

Also on hand in preparation for their upcoming IFL bout at the Mark of the Quad Cities will be members of Coach Miletich’s 2006 IFL World Championship Team, the Quad Cities Silverbacks.

If you are an Iowa or Illinois high school or college wrestler, this is a great opportunity to enhance your wrestling skills in a safe, fun and controlled setting.

Pat Miletich is revered among MMA fans primarily for his work as a coach and trainer. Miletich produces consistently well-rounded athletes and has almost single-handedly revolutionized the way to train and prepare for matches.

All attendees over 18 and/or their parents will receive a voucher good for two free tickets to the IFL event to be held at the Mark of the Quad Cities on Saturday, April 7th at 7:30 PM. All participants must sign up in advance.

See the action live as Pat Miletich’s Silverbacks battle MMA legend Ken Shamrock’s Lions, and kickboxing great Maurice Smith leads his Tiger Sharks against former Soviet Red Army commando Igor Zinoviev and his Chicago Red Bears.

If 10 bouts aren’t enough, there will also be an explosive superfight pitting Jeff Curran against Kevin English.

Advance signup is required for the clinic, as space is limited. Please contact:
