Palace fight show will feature UFC veterans, Valley competitors

LEMOORE — Three Ultimate Fighting Championship veterans will headline the Palace Fighting Champion-ship’s “Fast and Furious” mixed martial arts show on Thursday, March 22 at the Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino in Lemoore.

Columbus, Ohio’s Wes Sims (18-8-1) takes on Tulare’s Anthony Fuller (1-2) in the heavyweight main event. Sims appeared in UFC 43, 46 and 47.

In the co-main event, North Hollywood’s Lodune Sincaid (9-4) meets Lemoore’s Kenny Ento (6-1) at a catch weight of 195 pounds. Sincaid competed on Spike TV’s hit show “The Ultimate Fighter.” He is also the former World Extreme Cagefighting light heavyweight champion.

Elk Grove’s Scott Smith (10-3) is fresh off a loss to Canada’s Patrick Cote at UFC 67 in February. Smith is 1-2 in the UFC and he is also a former WEC light heavyweight champ. Smith faces Visalia’s Troy Miller (1-2).

The 16-bout card is slated to get under way at 6:30 p.m. and the doors open at 5:30 p.m.
Tickets are priced at $20, $30 and $40 and can be purchased at tickets.com or call 1-800-225-2277 to charge by phone. Tickets are also available in Fresno at New Era Martial Arts and Pacific Martial Arts and in Hanford at the Valley Fight Club. There is a limited supply of tickets at the Tachi Palace gift shop.

Also appearing on the card is Lemoore’s Poppies “Tachi Kid” Martinez (10-2), Coalinga’s Mario Rivera (2-3) and making his pro debut , Lemoore’s Mike Martinez.
