Despite claims that Dana White will not be involved in the show, his presence at a press conference in Japan in about 8 hours from now is ominous of things to come.

Sakakibara's recent trip to Brazil, where he signed fighters from Chute Boxe and Brazilian Top Team strenghtened his bargaining power as it was clear that Pride without top fighters had a diminished value and the Fertittas made it clear the sale was contingent on Pride's ability to sign most of their top stars.
