Sefo-Schilt for the newly created K-1 super heavyweight title



New Zealand's Ray Sefo will take on reigning K-1 World Grand Prix champion Semmy Schilt for the newly created K-1 super heavyweight title on Sunday at the K-1 World GP in Yokohama, Japan.

Schilt defeated Sefo via unanimous decision at the 2005 K-1 World GP quarterfinals. Later that night, Schilt knocked out Remy Bonjasky and Glaube Feitosa to win his first GP title.

K-1 also created a heavyweight title for fighters under 220.5 pounds. The winners between Musashi vs. Yusuke Fujimoto and Ruslan Karaev vs. Badr Hari will battle for the title at a later date.
