Shogun in Hollywood movie


Brazilian will be in ‘Never Submit’

Pride Middleweight GP champion in 2005, and one of the organizations main fighters at present, Mauricio Shogun is the newest Brazilian star to grace American action films.

Imperia Entertainment studios and the director James Hergott, were won over by the Chute Boxers talent and confirmed him as one of the participants of the movie “Never Submit”, to be filmed this year in Hollywood.

The movie will tell the story of a fighter that sees in Martial Arts the chance for a promising career, overcoming all challenges imposed by life. The protagonist will be "Jim" (Cam Giganet, from the show 'The O.C.) and Shogun will play the role of “Philippe”, who will face Jim in one of the films’ fights.
