UFC 68 breaks Nationwide Arena ticket sales record

The Columbus Dispatch reports that the UFC's debut in Ohio has become the highest-grossing event at the Nationwide Arena.

Ticket sales have reached $2.8 million dollars, which is higher than the Rolling Stones, who had the highest grossing music tour in 2006.

18,000 fans are expected to be in attendance for UFC 68 "The Uprising" in Columbus, Ohio. Strikeforce: Shamrock vs. Gracie currently holds the record for the highest attended mixed martial arts event, with 18,265 at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California.
