Silverbacks, Tiger Sharks Win in IFL

The Quad Cities Silverbacks (1-1) and Seattle Tiger Sharks (0-2) remained in contention for the International Fight League postseason, as each squad put together 4-1 victories tonight in front of a crowd of 5,308 at the Mark of the Quad Cities in Moline, Ill. Also, Jeff Curran, fighting at lightweight, submitted Kevin English with a guillotine choke at 1:12 of round two.
