UFC 68: Jamie Varner Added To Fight Card

Submission specialist Jamie Varner (11-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC), who lost to Hermes Franca (via armbar) at UFC 62 in his lone UFC fight, has been added to the rumored UFC 68 card in Columbus, Ohio, according to MMAWeekly.com.

The lightweight's bout currently bumps the event's total to 10 fights. Seeing how most UFC events are limited to nine fights, this could mean some additional changes to the card are in store.

Varner fights out of Arizona and is a team member of Arizona Combat Sports. The 22-year-old began fighting in MMA at just 18 years of age and has fought primarily in the Rage in the Cage series. He's posted eight submissions in his 11 career victories and is 10-1 (with two no-contests) in his past 13 fights.
