Hatton may make mandatory!

While there is nothing official from the Hatton camp, according to a press release from the camp of Naoufel Ben Rabah, Dennis Hobson, co-promoter of IBF junior welterweight champion Ricky Hatton, contacted IBF president Marian W. Muhammad and promised to fight the winner of this Sunday’s IBF title eliminator between Naoufel Ben Rabah and Lovemore N’Dou. Hatton had been widely expected to give up the IBF title to face Jose Luis Castillo in a big money fight in June rather that face a lesser known mandatory challenger. Stay tuned...
