SINCAID STOPS ENTO, YAHIRA MAKES SWIFT DEBUT AT PFC 2
By Loretta Hunt
LEMOORE, Calif., March 22---His white shorts stained crimson from Lodune Sincaid’s riddled scalp, it looked as if Lemoore’s rising middleweight Kenny Ento (6-2) was about to pass the threshold of regional competitor to national contender at the Palace Fighting Championships in the Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino tonight. “The Ultimate Fighter” season one veteran seemed a step behind the lanky six-foot-two Ento’s capable ground stylings, and was soon locked in a triangle choke as Ento’s sharp elbows had their way with Sincaid’s bald canvas.
The stench of fresh blood in the air, Sincaid (10-4) rightfully greeted the second round bell in desperation, a third gash opened on his skull from Ento’s standing elbows. Nailing the takedown, Sincaid stacked Ento in the turnbuckle and unloaded punches till his waning opponent gave his back. Referee Cecil Peoples made official the biggest comeback of the night 2:09 into the second round.
Sincaid’s heart mirrored the will of the fledging promotion, spearheaded by Tachi Palace’s Christian Printup, which has sprouted from the same Earth the popular World Extreme Cagefighting fonce reigned before it was plucked up by Zuffa LLC, the owners of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, and relocated to Las Vegas. The PFC’s second event offered a robust card of fifteen bouts, though the three, three-minute rounds aided in keeping the proceedings moving.
