FLORIAN AGREES ON MISHIMA



Nearly six months after a grueling loss to Sean Sherk in a fight that reintroduced the UFC lightweight title, Kenny Florian, 30, will return to action on April 5 as part of a Spike TV UFC Fight Night event in Las Vegas.

Florian (4-3) has agreed to face Shooto and PRIDE Bushido veteran Dokonjonosuke Mishima (17-5-2), though contracts are still pending for the fight some two months away. It will be Mishima's second fight in the UFC, having fallen to TUF 2 reality show champion Joe Stevenson at the UFC 65 pay-per-view event in November via guillotine choke.

"KenFlo" sees Mishima, who has tangled with lightweight forces like Takanori Gomi, Marcus Aurelio and Yves Edwards, as the right opponent at the right time.
