2000 Olympic Greco-Roman wrestling silver medalist Matt Lindland (19-4) has confirmed he's officially signed his contract to face the world's number one fighter Fedor Emelianenko (25-1) in St. Petersburg, Russia on April 6 for BodogFIGHT. The event is expected to be the promotion's second pay-per-view offering in five months.

Lindland, who's fought the majority of his career at middleweight, will give up some 20 pounds to the 230-pound Emelinanenko, who has not lost a bout since 2000.

Lindland confirms he's inked a three-fight deal with the promotion - all at heavyweight.
