Bell arrested in Big Bear!

Unified cruiserweight champion O'Neil Bell has been arrested for allegedly assaulting a sparring partner while doing roadwork near his training camp in Big Bear, Calif. The unnamed sparring partner claims Bell attacked him with a hatchet and threw large rocks at him. He told investigators that he was in fear for his life and sustained minor injuries from running through the vegetation as he fled through the woods. According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, Bell has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon based on both the alleged victim's claims and evidence at the scene. Bell is currently training in Big Bear for a March 17 title defense against Jean-Marc Mormeck in Paris.
