B.J. Penn: UFC Fighter Profile

Our society has characterized certain individuals who have shown prowess in a specific field to be born with the natural talent. Michael Jordan was born to play basketball, Muhammad Ali was born to box, Lance Armstrong was born to bike, and BJ Penn was born to grapple.

The Hawaiian “Prodigy” burst into the Octagon in 2001, becoming one of the most feared Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu grapplers in MMA. Despite normally fighting in the Lightweight 155lbs division, BJ Penn takes any challenge he can get his way. He’s fought across four different weight brackets all the way up to the 205 Light-Heavyweight divisions and regardless who is facing BJ Penn, it will be a war.
