“THE FLAME” POISED TO LIGHT UP CAGE RAGE 20

Veteran British fighter Robbie “the Flame” Olivier (13-6-1) faces his toughest challenge yet Saturday night against Masakazu Imanari (10-5-1) to decide the Cage Rage World Featherweight Champion. Beginning with his first pro fight five years ago, the fire fighter (that’s his job, not his style) from Cambridge had built up a solid career before a knee injury derailed him in 2005.

“I had to take six months off from doing any training,” Olivier says. “Luckily I didn’t need surgery and since my first fight back with Chris Freeborne [in Dec. 2005]; I haven’t had any problems at all.”

Earning the Cage Rage promotion’s British Title was tough work for Olivier. He initially lost a majority decision and then had to wait for his rematch against then title-holder Brad “One Punch” Pickett.
