March 17th - AX Fighting's "Spring Break"

By Charles Pearson

Both the AX Fighting Heavyweight title and the 145lb title are on the line March 17th at the Edmonds Community College's Seaview Gymnasium in Lynnwood, WA

Gordon McCleary made his MMA debut at the last AX show taking on the current Champion, Malembe "The Cuban Crisis" Gonzales in a non-title bout. Shortly into the 2nd rd, Gordon delivered a perfectly timed body shot that dropped Gonzales to the mat. As dictated by fight law - Gordon gets the immediate rematch - but this time it's for the belt.

Long time Ax Favorite, Kale "The Hawaiian Punch" Bradford will be facing Alberto "El Diablo" Santa Cruz for the Vacant 145lb title. The Title was held by Apallo Martinez, who passed away after winning the belt at a previous AX show.

Two tough 170lbers battle for the #1 ranking spot as undefeated Sedro Woolian Brett Malphrus takes on BJJ'er Tim Sternod. Tim Sternod is coming off Three straight victories and is looking to knock Brett down the rankings ladder.

Look for this night to be full of exciting fast paced action full of KO's and submissions as the best fighters from gyms all over the Pacific Northwest meet to do battle in the AX ring. Call 425-252-5222 or log onto AXFighting.com for more information.
