Poker Professional?

The UFC "Voice of the Octagon" is doing more than announcing these days as he is currently ranked 117th in the world for 2007 with his recent 3rd place finish at the WPT LA Classic poker tournament held at the Commerce Casino in Los Angeles. Buffer entered along with 468 other hopeful players paying $1,000 each to enter, which included many of the top professionals playing on the tournament circuit today.? After 18 hours of play Bruce finished 3rd and went home with $50,000 for his efforts.

"This is my best finish yet and what I like best about this win is I was short stacked for the entire tournament and survived with only four memorable solid hands and had to mentally challenge and bluff my way through the event.? My most notable hand that I call the $50,000 hand was with an 8 and 4 of spades in the hole and I pulled a runner runner flush to beat out a set of 3's.? I already have my $10,000 seat for the WSOP Main Event and will be playing in other major $10,000+ events this year.? All I can say is "It's Time... To Begin... To Go All In Again On the Green Felt Battlefield!" and I'm ready to go for it., states Bruce Buffer.
