Spratt to Wave the Texas Flag Proudly at UFC 69

When the UFC makes its initial foray into Texas for UFC 69 on April 7th, the Lone Star State will be well represented in the Octagon, with longtime welterweight contender Pete Spratt the latest Texan who is proud to be making his presence known on the UFC 69 card.

A Denison native now making his home in San Antonio, the 35-year old “Secret Weapon” has long been regarded as one of the fight game’s premier strikers, known for his devastating kicks and Muay Thai stylings.

Owner of wins over Zack Light and then-unbeaten Robbie Lawler in UFC action, Spratt had a three-year hiatus from the Octagon before returning in 2006 as a member of the ‘Ultimate Fighter’ season four cast. On the TUF4 finale show, Spratt (16-7) got back in the UFC win column with a second round victory over Jeremy Jackson.

In Marcus Davis, his opponent on April 7th, he will be facing a former pro boxer who has added ground fighting to his game to produce a dangerous package that has allowed him to rack up two UFC wins in a row over the last few months.
