Tokoro-Nagata announced for K-1 Hero's on March 12th

K-1 Hero's has announced Hideo Tokoro vs. Katsuhiko Nagata for its March 12 card at the Nagoya Rainbow Hall in Nagoya.

The fight, which was originally scheduled for K-1 Dynamite 2005, was cancelled when Royce Gracie needed an opponent for the show. Tokoro filled in for the injured Yoshihiro Akiyama against Gracie, and Nagata fought against Remigijus Morkevicius instead.

Katsuhiko Nagata is a 2000 Olympic Silver Medallist with a record of 2 wins and 1 loss in mixed martial arts. Nagata is coming off a TKO win against Shuichiro Katsumura at K-1 Dynamite 2006.

Tokoro, who was nicknamed "Cinderella Boy" for going from being a janitor to knocking out Alexandre “Pequeno” Nogueira, is the ZST GT-F champion. He defeated Royler Gracie by unanimous decision in his last fight. He participated in a tag team GT-F match this past Monday at ZST 12.

Notes: Possible fights on the March 12th card include Kazushi Sakuraba, Caol Uno, Kazuyuki Miyata, and J.Z. Calvan (Gesias Calvancanti).
