UFC 69: Roger Huerta vs. Alvin Robinson

Huerta (16-1-1) will fight UFC newcomer Alvin Robinson (7-1) at UFC 69: “Shootout” in Houston, Texas, on April 7, according to Dave Meltzer at WrestlingObserver.com.

In his last fight at UFC 67, Huerta demolished another UFC debutant, John Halverson, in seconds. “El Matador” got a better workout in the locker room than he did inside the cage.

He’s a high-energy, explosive fighter who the UFC seems high on. And, a fighter the UFC seems to feel the need to protect.

According to Sherdog.com, Robinson has primarily cut his teeth in the Colorado-based Ring of Fire promotion. “Kid” has ended most of his fights — five of them — via rear naked choke.

Chances are we will see this fight on the pay-per-view card. Hopefully, Robinson comes ready to fight.

Huerta certainly will.

The match up between Huerta and Robinson rounds out the UFC 69 fight card.
