UFC VS. CAGE RAGE, NOTES FROM UK FIGHT WEEKEND

“The British Bark” is back following an eventful weekend with Cage Rage 20 “Born 2 Fight.” Myself and Stash Capar were cageside for the festivities, which drew an estimated 7,000 spectators to the Wembley Arena in London. Here are some post-event notes:

UFC VS. CAGE RAGE

The dust has settled and what remains is the date April 21. UK’s leading local promotion in Cage Rage and the Ultimate Fighting Championship, America’s power promotion, have both pitched their tents for separate events on the same night a three hours drive away from one another.

The competition between the two promotions seems to be heating up with a number of occurrences over the weekend making this clear.

First of all, upon arrival at Wembley Central, the Tube (subway) station where most of the evening’s fans would be arriving prior to their prompt walk over to the arena, they were greeted by huge UFC posters proclaiming “UFC: April, Manchester.”
