Wolfpack Coach Lindland to Hold Open Tryouts

With a roster thinned by injuries and a tough season of IFL competition ahead of him, Portland Wolfpack coach Matt Lindland has decided to open his gym on Saturday March 3rd in search of top talent. Lindland is reportedly in search of fighters to fill permanent roster spots, as well as alternate positions, in all weight classes.

Of particular importance to Lindland is the welterweight division, where the squad is in need of a permanent replacement for Chris “The Professor” Wilson. Team Quest, the mixed martial arts academy operated by Lindland and former UFC champion Randy Couture in Gresham, Oregon, has long been known as one of the nation’s top fight teams.

Several world champions and top MMA contenders have called Team Quest home in recent years, and the opportunity to join such an organization will likely evoke a tremendous response.
