CARANO, SHIELDS, SILVA SHINE FOR SHOWTIME’S “ELITEXC”

June 2’s K-1/Pro Elite “Dynamite USA!!” event will broadcast in two parts. The pay-per-view event, which begins at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT, will feature up to six fights, including a headliner that pits seven-foot-two striker Hon Man Choi versus NCAA and former WWE pro wrestler Brock Lesnar in his MMA debut.

Prior to the pay-per-view, SHOWTIME will televise three bouts featuring EliteXC stars Jake Shields, Antonio Silva and Gina Carano, free to SHOWTIME subscribers from 9-10 p.m. ET/6-7 p.m. PT. Brazilian jiu-jitsu standout Shields is making his EliteXC debut, while Carano and Silva scored impressive victories at Feb. 10’s Showtime debut event. All three competitors' opponents have yet to be announced.
