Tim Sylvia Comes Home

Eastbrook native Tim Sylvia lost his Ultimate Fighting Championship belt last week when he was beaten by former champion Randy Couture. But that didn’t matter to fans, friends and family who turned out for a welcome home gathering on Friday night at the Eastbrook Community Center. Sylvia visited with fans, including some very young ones (above) and autographed a wide variety of UFC merchandise that was available for purchase during the event. Sylvia has only been beaten three times in his career and has held the UFC heavyweight championship twice so far.
