Oscar De La Hoya vs Floyd Mayweather Jr Update



Both Oscar De La Hoya and Floyd Mayweather Jr took part in the mandatory WBC 30-day safety weight check-in from their respective training camps. Jose Penagaricano, the President of the Puerto Rico Boxing Commission, supervised De La Hoya's weight check which took place yesterday at the Wilfredo Gomez Gym in Puerto Rico where the champion trains. De La Hoya's weight: 164.5 pounds.

Mayweather weighed in this morning at the Las Vegas offices of Dr. Robert Voy, a long-standing and renowned Nevada doctor. The documented weight was then immediately reported by Mayweather's advisory Leonard Ellerbe to Golden
Boy Promotions and the Nevada State Athletic Commission. Mayweather's weight: 152 pounds.
