NOT JUST A PRETTY FACE, CARANO READY TO BRAWL

“I think it’s going to be one of the better fights of the night, at least I’m planning on it,” said Gina Carano when she joined MMAWeekly’s SoundOff Radio show to discuss her upcoming Feb. 10th, EliteXC fight against tough veteran fighter Julie Kedzie.

As one of the forefront female fighters in MMA today, Gina Carano is quickly becoming a household name among MMA enthusiasts. Her impressive wins over Elaina Maxwell and her appearance on MSNBC’s new series “Warrior Nation,” have each given Carano loads of publicity in recent months. A few short years ago, Carano didn’t imagine that she’d be an MMA fighter, but her decision to jump from college student to K-1 fighter to MMA fighter has been a profitable one for her.

The question is, now that Gina is such a household MMA name would she ever consider going back to just fighting kickboxing shows instead of MMA?
