Talks Between HBO and UFC Continue

Mark Taffet, HBO's senior vice president of sports operation and pay-per-view, recently stated to Forbes Magazine that HBO and UFC and still negotiating to possibly air a UFC event on their network.

According to Forbes, the two companies have hit a wall over the production of the events. Additionaly, there is also a dispute over which company will select the individuals to call the fights.

UFC would obviously like to use their own broadcast team and handle the production end of the show, but since it's going to appear on HBO - the network giant feels that the production of the event and selection of the broadcast team should be handled by them.
